meihua's bdae.. celebrated..
13 april.. 12am.. went to her house to give her the first bdae cake! it was her 19th birthday.. and personal philosophy, birthdays only come once and they dun come back.. so i take it as special.. =D
reached at 12.. then she was LATE -.- hhahahaha.. cuz she was bathing.. gave to her at like 1215.. DOH.. Sat took her out to dinner at straits cafe at hotel rendevous.. tried out something special.. by giving her royal treatment! since i finally had the financial means to carry it out.. =D picked her up in a limo cab.. which is a overglorified comfort CAB.. =D then took her to dinner.. we were STUFFED.. the food was heavenly man.. totally awesome.. me and meihua were like pregnant aftr that lahs..
went to meet the crazy bunch for watcing ice age 2! the show ws damn funny.. if u havent watched it.. watch it now..its that good to unwind to..
okay.. back to normal updates..
internship ends in a week.. to be honest, i wish it wouldnt.. i learnt alot.. had lots of fun.. had great pple to work with.. and got alot of stuff.. =D i cant wait to see my friends again.. to have the one big insane family kinda thing in school.. but block teaching, sounds like heaven.. or hell to me.. =D

interfacing mistakes..
had a interesting debate with justin 2 nights ago..
its about concept and technical skills and are they both tehnical skills or wad? =D
i almost had a bad day in the interface meeting today..after trying for hours.. i couldnt come out with a proper 3d template for a website interface..
then after getting a few friendly reminders then i know how little i know compared to these professionals man..
even if i hada broadbase library of skills.. like maya flash 3dsmax silo, final cut pro soundtrackpro motion2 livetype AE yadda yadda yadda.. but im a technical guy.. the crzy urge to throw everything in and do everything is always theere.. its a bad temptation actually.. its like, so wad if i can? is it really necessary for wad i want to do? i can have 10 knifes to chop fruit.. but do i need so many? same logic applies for my project and for over-confident pple like myself.. i admit.. im over-confident.. then i get BURNED by my projects.. then it leads to GG.. pretty much.. which tools tell the story best? which tools do i really need?
tommy visited us today.. boss was happy with us.. so it was cool.. thank God for this company man.. it gave me lots of opportunities and learnt lessons.. i think me and glenn can testify to that..
jacky got fired.. tobe honest.. i was happy that he was.. prayed for the guy.. and it got answered.. =D weirdly enuff.. hes happy about it.. and now he joins the ranks of the school staff=D and the company he is working at is becoming BLACKLISTED.. YAY..

the bus romance..
the bus romance.. it takes place.. all the time.. everywhere in the services of buses.. as they transfer the masses to work, school or jus to places where they wanna be at..
its something i realized after sitting on buses for like 1 over hour with ABSOLUTELY nothing to do.. other than listening to stuff on my ipod.. or watching movies on the laptop..but yeah.. its fun to watch the little idoscyncries of society around us.. this is the disclaimer.. ITS JUZ ME, the way i perceive stuff, and it is my opinion..=D
there is a strange hiearchy the choices people make when sitting beside someone they do not know..like.. if the the girl/guy is pretty/handsome there are 3 choices to make..
1. dun care.. Too damn tired le..
2.Sit beside someone else.. cuz u feel uncomfortable
3. think u stand some sort of chance.. sit beside and hopefully make a game of little eye contact..to look at the person without the person knowing you are trying to look at them discreetly..
why do pple do this every morning? its some kind of crazy bus culture.. esp when u are squeezed while standing up.. then u gotta see who u are squashed up against, if the person is pleasing to the eye.. or if the person as ugly as HELL.. LOL..

was installing the thousand and one programs so that my macbook can work well and with all the programs i need.. its ALOT of programs man.. i prac had to leave some out..otherwise i REALLY have no space.. i was complaining due to the hot weather and that the installation was juz DAMN SLOW, i was like screaming "if i had known i would have gotten a damn bigger laptop hard disk!"
then after i said that then i started thinking.. how bout those pple who have laptops which are insanely spartan? like 30 gigs hard disk? (video students..DUN be nuts.. its NOT enuff..) who do the same things aas i do.. or those who have NO laptops then how do they survive? and here i am comlaining altho i am damn lucky to be able to use this kind of insane hardware.. i gotta be thankful.. my parents paid for it.. but im paying them back.
there are many pple worse off than i am.. my one week pocket money which is 50bucks.. can feed a fillipino family of 8 for a MONTH or 2!
lesson for me to learn.. dun complain.. not with the stuff i own oredi..mh bdae coming.. sis bdae came.. need to buy present.. =D..

today in the morning.. i switch on my laptop and switch on adium..
when i look at the contact list i look hard again..
then i only see mehmeh online.. and no ingrid.. then i rollover the alias and see that its INGRID's email that was used.. not mehmeh..
then i asked ingrid/mehmeh about it over msn.. and they thot i forgot my sanity medicine today.. then i screenshotted it and sent it to themm..LOL.. other than the normal office stuff.. nothing much interesting..
trying something out with mercury and skype later.. maybe i can try both without lagging.. =D
after work headed down to CK tang to say hi to meihua since she is working there plus to draw money! yay.. i love my paycheck.. then went to see mh.. she was sick but still working.. insanely stubborn.. and we compromised.. byyy, she wanting to go for "retail therapy" in order to feel better and i was tagging along to make sure she doesnt faint or get fits when crossing the road or sumthing.. =D the excuses girls come out with juz to go shopping.. -.- all because levi's was having a 70% sale..
later when we went home.. the mrt dudes were tearing out the ice age 2 posters that they stuck on the walls of the mrt.. then me and meihua went and asked if we could take one.. =DDD they let us. and we got posters! sticky ones! we had to go thru the game or stuck o' war.. and finally we get them home.. =D
okayyy, was thinking about a nice topic.. a nice weird topic and later in the office tml i will blog about it..

another weeek.. yay.. SIP is drawing nearer and nearer to a close..
to be honest i really dun want it to end.. im learning more here than in school.. weird huh? altho i know there are those who juz cant wait to get out of their companies.. cuz the companies are slave drivers, or maybe cuz the companies are just too boring.. =D
went for dip show..
the set up was nice.. but a little to open air.. kinda weird.. like they didnt fully take advantage of teh fully open space.. gee.. or maybe its juz me.. =D interactive only had 7 submissions.. sadddddd.. but videos were okay.. the posters were damn nice.. i want to collect.. ROWL! saw afie there.. as well as tia vani and ronald.. met up with shalyn and friend.. carmen i tihnk.. gave them the million and one mac programs.. then walked around with ingrid, hans, hans bro, nelson and his gf.. saw audrey too.. she looked as nelson described.. "like some rich tai tai going shopping"
ronald was holding a cane.. for self support or for terrorising some poor little kids nobody knows.. talked with afie bout this year's submissions and talked about our upcoming FYP.. ARGH! =P went off with ingrid after that.. i had wakeboarding.. and it was raining.. -.-
wakeboarding was fun tho.. finally got my backwards thingie right and nw can bunny hop.. 5 tricks left..
neck hurts.. feel like i over stretched it or wad..need exercise.. damn lumpy..
