DAY 1
The hr long flight to Phuket had been uneventful. Praise the Lord for that. Any longer and I might have needed Mamy Poko pants. Compression and rising air pressures ain't really the best thing for the bladder you know?
We stayed at the Banthai Beach Resort facing the west coastal beaches of Phuket. Patong beach they call it. Sunsets are magnificent in the evenings. The sun casts a golden orange hue around the region.
Caught the Simon Cabaret where we watched transvetites in comical and musical performances. Notably, the lipsynching gusto of divas like Tina Turner and a few others.
Sometimes when you wonder whether those mosquito bites are the real things or not

DAY 2
We got up early for breakfast. It was gonna be a long day. A mini bus brought us to the pier where a ferry was waiting. Destination Phi Phi Island. The ferry ride was refreshing. Feeling the salty ocean breeze and the morning sun beating down on your skin. Shiok!
Infact, it got so shiok that even my spectacles took a dive into the ocean. Won't go into details. Snorkeling wasn't as great as what I had experienced in Redang. Hmm, It was far from great la. AH it sucked la. The water wasn't as clear as what it looked in the brochure. There were fishes though. I saw swordfishes and a few other bottom feeders.
We were brought to the island for lunch. Exhaustion played a big role in keeping us looking and being stoned.
Back at Patong, we had seafood dinner and some drinks at a pub with live band performance.
Day 3
This is day where shopping comes alive. Eh you know what. I don't wanna narrate le.
