JoN -

CAMP PASSITON RAWKS MY SAWKS!! Spelled out as, R-A-W-K-S my S-A-W-K-S... Haha. Everyday was like a glorious banquet of Jesus with worship sessions, games and preparation for project X. We sang beautiful hymns of praises to God late into the nights and some even cried out for encores on our last night! WOOHOO!!

Project X was the main goal of the camp and that was to witness or evangelise to lost souls with the guidance and empowerment of the Holy Spirit.. It was a great experience. Was paired up with Zheng Bin. He has a charismatic persona, approachable and simply nice to chat with. He cld easily coax a wall into talking if he even tried.. Oh! He doesnt speak Chinese either. Anyways, our morale was record low as the rejection and the fear of approaching some1 took a toll on us. Every1 seemed to eye us with suspicion where ever we went. But we prayed to God for his strength and courage. That short covenant with God beside a dustbin outside 7-11 worked I tell you..

We managed to share the love of God, sin, the death of Jesus for our sins, how to receive and what happens when we receive Christ as our saviour with a few people. Although we didnt have any receivers of Christ that day, it was a personal achievement to share the gospel cos who knows? Someday, they may choose to recognise him as their personal saviour! PTL!

~Success in witnessing is simply taking the initiative to share Christ in the power of the holy spirit and leaving the results to God~
